The telecom layer lists regulatory and crowd-sourced mast coordinates for France (via ANFR, Licence Ouverte) with BNIR enrichment where available, plus OpenStreetMap nodes outside France for broader coverage. It is a proximity indicator, not a live spectrum audit.
When the module runs
If your telecom sensitivity slider sits at 0 m, we skip distance scoring so passive users are not penalised. With a positive radius, we count sites inside the disk and show the nearest distance in the modal. Your verdict stays clear or not clear according to the usual ClearSpot rules.
Coverage limits
France is driven by ANFR exports; other regions rely on OSM completeness. Sparse areas may show fewer points until crawlers refresh.
Operations
Operators schedule cron/crawl_telecom_anfr.php, cron/crawl_telecom_bnir.php, and cron/crawl_telecom_osm.php. Configure the ANFR CSV export URL and optional BNIR zip override in config.local.php as documented in config/README.md.
