Cities with low pollen levels in Ireland

Seasonal pollen allergies affect an estimated 40% of the European population, with prevalence rising as climate change extends and intensifies pollination seasons. Grass pollen, birch, olive, ragweed, and mugwort are the primary allergenic species across Europe - each with distinct seasonal peaks and geographic distributions.

ClearSpot tracks six allergenic pollen species - alder, birch, grass, mugwort, olive, and ragweed - using data from the Open-Meteo Air Quality API, which aggregates forecasts from European meteorological services including SILAM (Finnish Meteorological Institute) and CAMS (Copernicus). Monthly averages are computed for each city and normalised to a 0-100% burden score.

The 0 cities below register the lowest average pollen burden in Ireland during the reference period of May 2026. Pollen levels vary significantly by season: check the live map for current readings at any location.
